Sacramento city does allow parking in the street and we can help you get the permit. The rest of the county is much harder to deal with so please call us for ideas and work arounds for these areas.
  • Private Property: No permit needed for driveways or lots, but the surface must be flat and stable (concrete or asphalt preferred; avoid soft gravel, dirt, or slopes over 5°). Allow 10–23 ft of overhead clearance (based on 10-, 20-, or 40-yard dumpster size) from power lines, trees, or overhangs.
• Prepare the Space: Clear the area of vehicles, debris, or obstacles before delivery. For tight spots, mark the exact placement area with cones, chalk, or tape to guide our drivers. This is especially crucial in urban Sacramento or compact Elk Grove lots.
• Prohibited Areas: To comply with local codes and ensure safety, we cannot place dumpsters in the following:
